CLUB MANAGEMENT FUNDING

funding for nsw clubs

NSWHPA endeavours to assist NSW affiliated Clubs and pilots with financial assistance and provides funding guidelines that are on our website, NSWHPA.org. NSWHPA may provide Management Funding in the form of a payment to Clubs to assist with matters such as general administration costs, regular subscriptions and website costs.

This Guideline has been amended to include a broader range of costs. In particular, the regular costs incurred by Clubs relating to Launch, Landing Zone and Weather station mast and mounting base maintenance. The NSWHPA would favourably consider requests for the purchase of hand-held gardening and general-purpose tools (the Guideline document provides some examples) a maximum one-off subsidy of $1,000.00 would be considered.

Note that each application will be assessed on its merits and if approved will not serve as a precedent for other clubs. NSWHPA reserves the right to approve, partially approve or deny any application based on liquidity and any other matters that the NSWHPA need to take into account.

Management Funding will not be provided for social gatherings and Clubs are encouraged to hold all meetings at venues that do not incur a charge for the use of the facility.

Management Funding is intended to be modest and by exception support NSW clubs to administer their membership base and assist with conducting events and activities for pilot development.

Applications to NSWHPA for Club Management Funding are to be made by affiliated NSW clubs submitted by (preferably by January 31) using the form (referred to in Addendum 1).
