NSW CLUB TOW OPERATIONS RESOURCE CENTRE
SUMMARY
Note: this page is in development as an initial resource for tow workshop attendees only.
NSWHPA has purchased 4 tow winches (2 payout, 2 e-winch) with the objective of extending the range of flying possibilities to NSW club pilots.
NSWHPA has engaged extensively with the Flatlands Towing Club and several highly experienced pilots with tow operations experience in order to develop important material to govern safe towing operations.
Safe towing operations relies heavily on the engagement of experienced personnel. While we’ve attempted to capture such experience, the material on this website is a guide only and must accompany extensive briefings and workshops before a pilot is capable of participating in a
ground tow operation. Contact your club for more details.
